he 4″ Chipper – 3-Point Hitch PTO (Cat 1) is designed for efficient chipping of wood, hardwood, and tree branches with compact and utility tractors. Suitable for tractors in the 18–45 HP range, it provides a dependable solution for property maintenance, orchard cleanup, and land clearing.

This chipper mounts to a Category 1 three-point hitch and operates from a 540 RPM PTO. Material is processed through a heavy-duty drum rotor system with four primary knives plus one counter knife, delivering consistent chipping performance up to a maximum branch diameter of 4″ (100 mm).

Built with a robust, practical design, the 4″ Chipper features a rigid chassis, drum rotor, feed rollers, blades, and hammers engineered for long service life. The adjustable feed roller speed allows material flow to be matched to branch diameter and hardness for smoother operation and reduced strain on the tractor. All knives and rollers are manufactured from special heat-treated steel, using multiple heat-treatment processes to improve durability and extend service life.
